FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
All basic sessions include 15 edited digital images (mini sessions start at 8 images) of your choice with the option to purchase full gallery for an additional fee.
A Print Release will be provided.
How many payments do I make?
Each session starts with a 50% non-refundable Booking Fee which must be paid when your session is booked. This reserves your session date and time. The remaining session amount will be required the day prior to your session.
What’s the best time to have a session?
I can work with the time of day that best suits your family's needs.
Ideally, the lighting is best during the golden hour (one hour prior to sunset and one hour following sunrise).
When unable to shoot during golden hour, I like to look for locations with open shade.
In home lifestyle sessions work best when the room can get the most natural but not direct light coming in through the windows.
How should we dress for our family session?
Choose clothing that you are comfortable in. We feel and look our best when we are comfortable. Neutral solid colors photograph beautifully. Choose a neutral color palette and dress everyone in complimenting colors. If choosing outfits feels stressful to you, I would love to assist you in finding the right choices for your family.
I have another type of session I would like to book. Do you offer other types of photography?
I would love to work with you to meet your photography needs. I am happy to offer headshot sessions, event photography, and business marketing photography for social media marketing. If you have specific photography needs not mentioned on my website feel free to contact me. I can also develop custom packages if you want to combine session types (e.g., book a maternity and newborn sessions). If I cannot meet your needs, I would love to help you find the right photographer for you.
